Sundeck 580:

LRC w/Modern Style

Sundeck 580

Sundeck’s designers decided that just because a boat is a trawler, it doesn’t have to look like something only a grandfather would want. They designed the 580 with a vertical bow and higher hullsides to set it apart from traditional trawlers and give her an explorer-yacht edginess. She is built for serious cruising with a CE “A” Category certification, which is the highest CE theoretical seaworthiness rating. More...

ULTRA Anchor:

Works in Any Bottom

ultra-anchor-072720.png

The Ultra anchor looks at home on any high-end yacht.

Ultra anchors are designed to work through the stem, integrated into a pulpit or as part of a roller system. They are made from hand-polished stainless steel and the weight and serial model are stamped into the shank. Models range from 11 to 800 lbs. (5 kg to 360 kg). The anchor is designed with most of the weight in the spade tip, a swivel, and side plates that conventional plow anchors don’t have. When it’s deployed, the anchor almost always falls into the correct attack position. We’re seeing more Ultra anchors on boats because they work and even though they cost more, if an owner can count on a piece of equipment, he’s likely to spend more for the peace of mind. More...

Triton 206 Allure:

Multi-Species Boat for Fish and Play

triton-206allure-072720.png

The Triton 206 Allure’s cockpit ready for cruising.

On its 206 Allure, Triton designed the multi-species boat with a cockpit that measures 6’8” (2.03 m) wide and has amidships depth of 2’ (60.9 cm). That’s pretty conventional for the breed, but what sets apart is the seating for six behind the boat’s tall walk-thru windshield. Switching over to fishing is easy. Remove the middle seats and their posts and fold down the rear jumper seats. The aft casting deck is 6’11” (2.1 m) wide. More...

MasterCraft NXT22:

Wakesports Boat w/Redundant Systems

mastercraft-nxt22-072720.png

If the screen at the NXT22’s dash goes down, the ballast system can still be run with the switches to the left.

One of the many updates made to the new MasterCraft NXT22’s helm was the addition of a 4.3” (10.92 cm) multifunction screen that includes factory-set wake profiles for skiing, boarding and surfing on the left or right side plus a plethora of additional information. Should the screen unexpectedly malfunction, the fun doesn’t have to end. To the left are individual switches for the ballast system and the wave-shaping tabs. For the driver, the seat has also been upgraded with more support and comfort. More...

Boston Whaler 325 Conquest:

Express Fishboat that Can Cruise

bw-325conquest-072720.png

The 325 Conquest’s port lounges convert to myriad positions.

Boston Whaler likes to say the 325 Conquest has dual personalities and one example of this is on the port side opposite the helm. The lounge can be set up for forward-facing travel so a companion can keep the captain company during a cruise. When the time comes to watch lines while trolling, the backrest moves for aft-facing positioning. For more versatility, just abaft the seat is an adjustable-height table that can be lowered and covered with cushions to create an adult-sized chaise-style lounge. More...
