A Flybridge That Converts to an Express
Galeon Yachts’ 470 Sky is a flybridge yacht that can convert to an express model with a power hatch that slides aft over the upper helm and seats, covering the entire area. The flybridge extends aft over the cockpit, providing shade and side decks open to expand the beam from 14’4” (4.37 m) to 18’7” (5.66 m). For entertaining, triple glass doors framed in stainless steel pull aside, creating a 6’ (1.83 m) wide passage between the cockpit and galley. Mid-Sized Offshore Power Cat
The Fountaine Pajot is a 36’2” (11 m) cruising catamaran that packs four entertainment zones, three staterooms, two heads and solid performance into sub-40’ offering. Up top, the flybridge has a lounge that wraps around a table to port and the entire area is shaded by a fiberglass hardtop. On the main deck, designers took advantage of the boat’s 16’8” (5.1 m) beam to create spacious cockpit and bow seating areas. The Palm Beach 50 Fly is a stunning luxury yacht with classic Downeast lines, but there’s more to this elegant vessel than looks. With a pair of 435-hp Volvo Penta IPS600 pod propulsion systems, the 54’ (16.4 m) long, 31,794-pound (14,421.5 kg) boat also rivals the saltiest battlewagons when it comes to running offshore. In 4’ to 6’ seas, she hit a top speed of 31.4 knots at 3550 rpm and burned 0.7 nmpg for a range of 288.9 nmpg.
