Galeon 640 Fly:
Designed for the Owner/Operator
During our test of the Galeon 640 Fly, we took note of many features that should appeal to an owner/operator. At the flybridge helm, there are three multi-function displays that can be set up to deliver whatever information the captain wants. Many boats in class would have one screen at the upper station, never mind three. The bow and stern thrusters came in handy when we pulled out of a slip in windy conditions – and eliminated the need for costly pod drives with a joystick. At the lower helm, the captain and a companion traveled in high-backed bucket seats that adjusted three ways electrically and given all the glass surrounding them, we appreciated the air-conditioning vents pointed at them. For short-handed docking, the side window next to the lower helm opened, putting the amidships cleat in reach.
Note the extended flying bridge that adds a remarkable amount of space topside for entertaining or tender storage, and provides cover for the aft deck. This is a lot of added functionality for not much added expense in construction. More...

Belize 66 Daybridge:
Next-Level Attention to Detail
A luxury yacht enthusiast with a trained eye will find that Belize has paid attention to the fine details on the 66 Daybridge. Bullnose teak trim is installed in a single piece, which means that it is steamed and bent to fit a rounded corner — and there are zero sharp ones anywhere on the boat. Throughout the boat, the joinery work was virtually flawless. Countertops are stone, and air conditioning is hidden in the valances in the overhead for more even cooling. The towel racks in the master head are heated. Underfoot, the teak sole in the salon and the treads on the open-design daybridge stairs have an exposed open grain and they’re finished with a silica-based varnish to improve traction. Many man-hours have been lavished on this boat, something that only veteran boat owners will be able quickly see and appreciate. More...

MasterCraft XT23:
Versatile Wakesports Boat
The XT23 is the middle sibling of MasterCraft’s three-boat XT series and she’s designed to provide waves to please surfers and wake boarders alike. With the GEN2 wave-shaping option, she can carry up to 2,600 pounds (1,179.34 kg) of ballast and the available FastFill system can load all that weight in less than four minutes. Controls at the helm let the driver select a specific rider profile and the system automatically sets itself to provide the perfect wave for that person. The cockpit and bow can accommodate a crowd and there’s plenty of space for stowing gear. More...

Outer Reef 610 Motoryacht:

The Outer Reef 610 Motoryacht.
From solar panels on the hardtop to an 1,800-gpd watermaker to ABT Trac 220 stabilizers, the Outer Reef 610 Motoryacht is a long-range cruising yacht that is outfitted for her mission. She’s targeted at the owner/operator with a lazarette in place of crew quarters in the stern and an engine room laid out with all serviceable equipment in convenient reach. At the helm stations, there are multifunction displays that can be configured the way a captain wants with redundant engine-monitoring panels for the twin John Deere inboards. More...

Lekker Damsko 750:
All-Purpose Aluminum Tender
The Lekker Damsko 750 is based on a Dutch “sloep” design, which is a classic open boat that has been used as a launch, tender or utility vessel for centuries. Lekker modernized it with all aluminum construction and a MerCruiser diesel engine packaged with a Bravo Three duo-prop drive. The company says the boat can run 42 knots and carry up to 25 people. She has a sharp entry forward that transitions to a flatter running surface aft. Extended stern platforms act as fixed trim tabs to help the bow drop quickly under acceleration and provide stability when the boat is running at speed. The Damsko 750 is available in Open, Semi-Open and Cabin models. She makes an ideal yacht club tender that can also double as a work boat on the racecourse to set marks and conduct other race committee chores. More...
