BENETEAU Monte Carlo 52:
New Express w/Enhanced Ride
When French builder BENETEAU decided to replace the Monte Carlo 5 with a new model, the company worked with naval architects at Marine Innovation Consulting and Design in Lecce, Italy, to draft a longer, wider hull, with a more contemporary look. But the big take-away from the MC5 hull design was its wonderful excellent ride because of its razor-sharp forefoot. The Monte Carlo 52 measures 53’7” (16.33 m) with a 15’2” (4.62 m) beam, while the Monte Carlo 5 was 49’10” (15.19 m) with a 14’2” (4.29 m) beam. In 1’ to 2’ seas, our test boat ran 26 knots at 3600 rpm and her best cruise was 16.4 knots and 2800 rpm, where she had a range of 209 nautical miles More...

To chase tarpon and other elusive game fish in the shallows, anglers need a casting platform that draws mere inches of water. Bay/Flats boats are designed from the keel up with the ability to skim across the water. Available in monohulls, cats and even tri-hull designs, flats boats draw less than bay models and both styles have evolved to become versatile machines for fish and play. There are nearly 70 Bay/Flats Boats on display at VirtualBOATSHOW.com. To visit the boat show – admittance is free – click here...

Neptunus 750 SkyLounge:
Sleek, Skylounge Motoryacht
The Neptunus 750 SkyLounge is one of the sleekest looking flying bridge motoryachts we’ve seen, something accomplished with great artistry and proportionality. One might surmise that she’s the product of an Italian yard, but Neptunus is based in Canada and has Dutch roots. She has an 18’11” (5.77 m) beam that designers took full advantage of with opposed seating in the salon and a large dinette with a panoramic forward view. Belowdecks, she has four staterooms, three heads and crew quarters. More...

Regency 210 DL3:
Premium Performance Pontoon Boat
To make its 210 DL3 into a do-everything boat for an active family, Regency built her with triple pontoons with 26” (66.04 cm) diameters and the XP3 performance package. By using 26” pontoons instead of smaller ones used by many toon builders, the 210 DL3 has far more buoyance, carrying capacity and speed. Winding up the optional 250-hp Mercury outboard to 5750 rpm, we hit a top speed of 39.4 mph. She accelerated to 20 mph in 5.1 seconds and ran through 30 mph in 8.8 seconds. More...

Sirena Yachts 88:
Customizable Long Range Motoryacht
Sirena Yachts’ 88 is a long-range expedition yacht that the manufacturer designed so that it can be customized to an owner’s desires. The best example of this is the one-piece stern that is actually built outside the boat. The transom is farther forward and then the stern pod is installed. It can be configured as a garage or an outdoor gathering area. One owner had the stern built for use as a beach club but had the coffee tables customized with notches that turn them into a rack for holding a tender. Other highlights include a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck with a fold-out balcony and an extra-large flying bridge area. More...

BoattestLEASING:
70% of Mercedes and BMWs are Leased —
Why Not Premium Boats, Too?
Regal 29 OBX
BoattestLEASING makes boating affordable to thousands of would-be boaters by leasing unused days in an owned boat and making them available for a low down-payment and low monthly payment. Essentially, the cost of ownership is spread over a number of boaters, and everyone wins: The boat owner who leases unused days receives income to defray his costs, the lessee receives use of a premium boat for far less than it would cost to rent or charter the same boat.
