Leopard 53 Powercat:

Benefits of a 2:1 Length-to-Beam Ratio

leopard-53pc-092820.jpg

Leopard 53 Powercat

The Leopard 53 Powercat is designed to be a leading-edge cruising power catamaran. She has a spacious flying bridge which is ideal for sightseeing and entertaining. The cockpit and salon are on the same level. Combine that with her 25’2” (7.67 m) beam and it creates one of the largest gathering areas we’ve seen on a boat in this length. When she’s underway, the 53 Powercat has a wave-taming ride and superior range. More...

Sirena Yachts 88:

New Design w/Expansive Flying Bridge

sirena-yachts-88-092820.png

To give an idea of how big the Sirena 88’s flying bridge is, the table to starboard measures 8’10” (2.69 m) long.

The Sirena Yachts 88 we tested and inspected has one of the largest flying bridges we’ve seen on a motoryacht in this class and size range. There’s 7’ (2.13 m) of headroom under the hardtop and integrated into that top is an electrically-powered sunroof that measures 8’ by 9’ (2.44 m by 2.74 m). The bar to port has a granite countertop, a sink, a refrigerator and a grill. Heck, there’s even a hot tub aft the bar. To starboard, there’s seating space for 10 people around an exquisitely-finished table. More...

Grady-White Express 330:

Options Create a Four-Season Boat

gradywhite-express330-092820.jpg

Here, the Grady-White Express 330 has the optional enclosed helm.

The value of a boat is enhanced the more days it can be used. The Express 330 comes standard with a hardtop and full canvas enclosure, giving great protection. You can also upgrade to the optional AV2® top or the enclosed hardtop for even more solid protection, both offering full height windshields. Adding optional air conditioning at the helm helps makes the Express 330 into a boat that can be used year-round even in the hotter climates. She also sleeps four in the forward V-berth and in the mid-cabin. More...

Hampton Yachts Technical:

Making the Complex Simple

hamptonyachts-technical-092820.png

Capt. Steve on the helm of the Hampton Endurance 720.

Hampton Yachts builds long-range cruisers intended for owner-operators and the company tries to keep things as straightforward as possible. For example, the helm of the Endurance 720 has three 21” (53.34 cm) Garmin multifunction displays. The captain can choose among engine monitoring, navigation and on-board cameras on any of the screens and they’re intuitive to operate. They’re a great example of the three pillars we look for in a coastal cruiser — ease of use, simplistic systems and quality of build. More...

Prestige 420 Fly

The smallest boat in the Prestige Yachts lineup is designed to draw owners moving in opposite directions in their yachting career. The 420 Fly is designed for owners moving up to their first flying bridge yacht, or for owners moving down who want a day boat for around home. She’s powered by twin inboards and can be equipped with an optional joystick for improved control around the docks. More...

Sometimes it's not what you know, but what you've forgotten. We have the perfect solution for you.

Based on the feedback we've been getting about BoatTEST.com's Video Boating Course, it's clearly not only for beginners but for veteran boaters as well.
