Monte Carlo Yachts 96:
Raised Pilothouse w/Max Deck Space
The seventh model designed for Monte Carlo Yachts by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, the MCY 96 shares the series’ signature look with flowing lines, a high bow and sleek profile. This raised pilothouse design brings the boat deck to the transom, which covers the aft deck while providing more deck space above. For accommodations, the MCY 96’s deck plan has the owner’s stateroom on the main deck and guest and crew quarters on the lower level. Owners can choose among a variety of accommodation plans and to serve a greater number of clients’ needs, she can be built to RINA Pleasure or Charter Class certifications or to CE-A Category standards or MCA MGN 280. Boston Whaler 210 Dauntless:
A Versatile Center Console
Boston Whaler’s Dauntless series is one of the manufacturer’s most versatile lines and the 210 is a prime example. She’s designed for coastal work, but on fair days she is fine to take well offshore. At 20’6” (6.24 m) long and a dry weight of 2,600 lbs. (1,179 kg), she’s easily transported, her bow can provide extra chaise-style seating, and her aft deck can be a casting platform. Her standard equipment list includes amenities for fishing and play. If a family leans more toward one activity over others, a multitude of options is available. More...

Ocean Alexander 45 Divergence:
Motoryacht Elegance in a Center Console
Even though the new 45 Divergence is a departure for motoryacht-builder Ocean Alexander, she still has the elegance and comfort the builder’s larger yachts are known for. In the bow, she has a doublewide chaise-style lounge with thickly padded bottom cushions and headrests. Just ahead, a table can be lowered and filler cushions added to create a recessed playpen-style area. Remove the cushions and raise the table for lunch or cocktails. More...

Regal 33 XO:
Outboards Have Their Advantages
By eliminating sterndrives on its 33 XO, Regal freed up a ton of cockpit space to make the boat more amenable to day boating and entertaining. Getting rid of the engines under the aft sunlounge provides ample room for storage, a generator or even a Seakeeper. Outboards also give the boat the ability to explore backwaters and out-of-the-way coves because the engines can trim all the way out of the water, while a sterndrive has much more limited range. Finally, the wraparound swim platform has port and starboard extensions that reach past the engines so the boat can still be used as a watersports platform. More...

Quench Sea:
An Affordable, Mini Desalinator
Thanks to a successful crowd-funding program, the manufacturer of the Quench Sea desalinator says it will be able to sell the product for $60. That makes it the lowest priced product in its category. It has a number of applications where reducing the weight and bulk of fresh water might be needed. Thirsty for more info? Click here.
