When the Robalo 226 Cayman is plying the shallows in search of bonefish, it’s important that she remains stable when anglers cast and that she planes quickly with minimal squat when taking off. The manufacturer’s Extended V-Plane bottom helps both of these things happen. The running surface extends past the transom 14” (36 cm) on each side to the trailing edge of the swim platform.
