CL Yachts CLB88:
Ruggedly Constructed w/Resin Infusion
The CL Yachts’ CLB88 is built with resin infusion to help achieve the optimum combination of weight and strength. Our test model had an estimated weight of 167,483 lbs. (75,969 kg), which for a yacht with a 22'6" (6.85 m) beam is as light as any quality motoryacht this size that we have tested and lighter than several well-known brands. With twin 1,600-hp CAT C32 Acerts turned up to 2350 rpm, we hit 24.4 knots. At 2200 rpm, we ran 22.3 knots, giving her a range of 431.7 nautical miles. If a longer passage is planned, drop down to 1,000 rpm and the range jumps to 1,461.7 nm at 9.8 knots. One of the major features of CL Yachts is that they are built in the Cheoy Lee Shipyard, which specializes in building quality boats quickly by building the interior in modules at the same time the hull is being laminated. Cheoy Lee has been building boats for 150 years and the owner/engineers take great pride in their products. More...

Boston Whaler 325 Conquest:
Express Fish w/Good Systems Access
The Boston Whaler 325 Conquest is a do-everything express fishboat that has many somewhat complex systems on board. For that reason, Whaler engineers have designed in handy access to the batteries, generator, pumps, pluming and through-hull fittings. In some boats we test in class, important systems are installed in places requiring the reach of an orangutan. A large hatch in the center of the cockpit opens on twin gas struts to make it easy to access all the mechanical equipment including the optional Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer. Of course, she’s unsinkable, too. More...

She’s a bowrider that can accommodate up to 14 passengers available with sterndrive or outboard power. More...

Yamaha EX Limited:
Family-Friendly PWC
Yamaha’s EX Limited waverunner might be considered “entry-level,” but don’t expect to grow out of it after a season. She has the size, performance and handling that will make a family want to keep her around for years. One reason for that is the features, including RiDE technology, removable ECOXGear waterproof Bluetooth speakers, pull-up cleats and a tube, towrope, storage bag and inflator. More...
