Now, let us tell you a little secret about 30’ to 34’ (9.1 m to 10.36 m) center consoles: they are in a size “sweet spot.” They are generally large enough, and strong enough to handle sloppy conditions offshore and go island to island, have stand-up clearance in the head compartment, can be powered by twin engines not more costly triples, make it easier to find rack storage, and provide the functionality of larger boats — without the high-cost and operating expenses of the really big center consoles. The manufacturer calls her the “ultimate cruising yacht with true ocean-crossing range.” This is not standard boat builder hype. The fact is that the Fleming team is dedicated to making the world’s best cruising trawlers. That’s why Tony Fleming started the brand years ago and its current management still embraces that vision. But that’s the rub. Fleming has limited capacity and will not step-up production and risk stepping down fit-and-finish. The Sirena Yachts 58 is offered with three different accommodations deck layouts, two that sleep six people in three cabins, and one with dual master cabins. The motoryachts’ plumb bow let designers create a master stateroom in the bow with a separate entry. The two-cabin plan would be the best alternative if the yacht has two owners, or an owner that enjoys cruising with just one other couple as guests. She has a three-stateroom, three-head layout including a full-beam master plus crew quarters. Her full Simrad electronics suite and Yacht Controller keep the captain in total control. A hydraulic swim platform provides a private beach and makes it easier to load the tender that stores in a dedicated garage.
