Grand Banks 54:

Easier to Own and Operate

grandbanks-54-011821.png

Grand Banks 54

Grand Banks designed the new 54 to be an easy-to-operate/easy-to-own yacht for the typical owner/operator. She has redundancy throughout her systems and nothing is so complicated that it can’t be grasped by the average cruising couple. Take for example, the lazarette opening. It’s large and the hatch has a grab rail on the underside. All the equipment is easily accessed and protected by stainless-steel rails. Those rails and the ladder are removable thanks to clevis pins to make it easier to service the gear. Wait until we show you the engine room. More...

Astondoa 66 Flybridge

On its 66 Flybridge motoryacht, Astondoa adds a fiberglass hardtop with an opening center section that covers much of the flying bridge. This gives passengers protection from the elements while they enjoy an al fresco meal on the starboard lounge with incomparable views. On the aft section of the upper level, triple-wide chaise lounges with adjustable headrests invite the sun worshippers. More...

This Cockpit is for Entertaining

Riviera 43 Open Flybridge

The Riviera 43 Open Flybridge uses the galley to connect the cockpit and salon. The manufacturer moved the food-prep area from the traditional forward location to the aft end of the salon. A sliding door and opening window create a more spacious gathering area for entertaining. Just as important, as can be seen in the above image, Riviera is encouraging the use of a free-standing table and foldable chairs to increase the utility of the large cockpit. More...

Sea Ray SLX 400 OB

The Sea Ray SLX 400 OB’s expansive cockpit gets even bigger when the side “swim terrace” is opened. With all the seats filled, there’s still space to work at the well-appointed wetbar that has a refrigerator, sink and available dual grills. Up front, the bow has 3 individual, forward-facing touring seats with armrests and port and starboard bench seats with a table in between. Below there is a cozy banquette where an evening candle-lite cocktail party can be held. The space can be converted to sleeping for a long weekend and there is a crawl-in mid-cabin for two behind the companionway. More...
