Bertram 34CC (2025-)

2 x 350-hp Mercury Verado V10

Brief Summary

Bertram Yachts is a name synonymous with sportfishing excellence and rugged seaworthiness. The company's legendary reputation was forged in the early 1960s by founder Richard "Dick" Bertram, who pioneered the deep-V hull design. This revolutionary hull, inspired by designer C. Raymond Hunt, allowed boats to slice through choppy seas at high speeds, providing a smoother, drier ride than anything else on the water at the time. This innovation not only dominated offshore powerboat racing but also set a new standard for offshore fishing boats.

The Bertram 34CC carries this rich heritage forward. She is not just a center console; she is a modern-day testament to the brand's core principles of durability, performance, and functionality.

Designed by Boaters, for Boaters:

A "Real" Cabin: Unlike many center consoles that offer a small, utilitarian space, the 34CC features a genuine cabin with an air-conditioned interior. A fold-down couch converts into a queen bed, and a full head and vanity provide a level of comfort and convenience usually reserved for larger flybridge yachts.

Fishability First: The cockpit is a true angler's command center. The layout is spacious and open, designed to give anglers room to work. Four large, insulated fish boxes with a specific drainage system double as in-floor storage, ensuring you can keep your catch fresh or your gear dry. Ample rod storage, rod holders, and a wide engine well bridge for easy transom access are all standard.

A Smooth Ride: The 34CC's 23-degree transom deadrise and balanced weight distribution are a direct result of lessons learned from Bertram's most successful hulls. This design delivers an exceptionally stable and comfortable ride, even in rough offshore conditions, allowing you to get to the fishing grounds quickly and without getting beaten up.

Reliability Over Complexity: Bertram's engineering philosophy prioritizes "resilient, proven system designs over high-tech solutions." The 34CC is built with the understanding that reliability and ease of use are paramount when you're far from shore. Strategic partnerships with trusted brands like Mercury and Garmin ensure every component is robust and dependable.

Built for Comfort: The boat offers abundant seating, including three wide helm seats, wrap-around bow seating, and fold-down transom seats. This convertible space allows the boat to seamlessly transition from a serious fishing machine to a comfortable platform for family and friends. Optional amenities like a retractable cockpit sunshade and a galley further enhance her versatility for leisurely days on the water.
