The Montauk carries its wide beam all the way to the bow, giving this 190 much more room than typical 19 footers. While the technology has changed a bit, all of today’s Boston Whalers are built using the same unsinkable, foam-filled Unibond fiberglass hull introduced nearly half a century ago.
