Overview

Captain Tripp's framing: "This is a sporty cruiser. Great for overnights." The test boat is fully optioned. Power: triple 400 Mercury V10s. This review is a dockside walkthrough rather than an on-water performance test; Captain Tripp noted: "Maybe I'll get to run it one day on the water, see what it can really do. But today's just a walkthrough."

Aft "Summer Kitchen"

Captain Tripp identified this as one of his favorite features on the boat. Includes a sink and grill, plus an induction cooktop — which he noted as a surprise addition: "So if you're actually gonna be cooking something in a skillet or a pot, you can do it on the back of the boat. Now me personally, this is where I'm gonna choose to do it to keep smells and heat outta the cabin on those hot summer days."

Swim platform: Two removable stools, a table on the port side, telescopic boarding ladder (starboard), and a freshwater shower for rinsing off saltwater before boarding.

Overhead Awning

Electric retractable awning providing shade over both the swim platform and the cockpit L-shaped seating.

Mechanical Access / Propulsion Configuration

Access to the mechanical space is located beneath a table near the swim platform. Captain Tripp noted the boat can alternatively be optioned with an inboard configuration (eliminating outboards, yielding a larger swim platform), but expressed a preference for the outboard setup as configured: "I think I like this setup here. That's going to give you good performance with those outboards. Trim 'em up in shallow water and a lot of storage under here."

Additional storage/systems (starboard, near mechanical access): Trash can, storage, and battery switch access — noted as well labeled.

Audio System / Storage (Cockpit)

• Premium JL Audio system, mounted below a seat
• Port side: pull-out isothermal refrigerator
• Two JL subwoofers beneath a table

Captain Tripp's assessment: "This boat is really gonna rock."

Cabin Entry

Through two large sliding glass doors, leading into a space with substantial headroom, overhead strip lighting, and additional JL Audio speakers.

Salon Seating

• Starboard: L-shaped seating around a fixed (non-hi-lo) dinette table — Captain Tripp noted the fixed table is not a drawback: "The table's not a high low, but that's fine 'cause it's gonna be very secure right there."
• Port: Additional opposing seating for extra guests, plenty of cup holders

Convertible Lounger (Under Retractable Hardtop)

Positioned further forward. Captain Tripp explained its dual nature: with the hardtop open, it's essentially an indoor/outdoor sun lounger; closed, it becomes a fully air-conditioned, protected space.

Nearby (starboard, behind helm seats): Electrically lifted TV, JL audio sound system controls, and a subwoofer control.

Helm

Twin bucket seats, described by Captain Tripp for their driving feel: "Sitting here it makes me feel like I'm in a sports car because of the curvature of the seats that kind of keep you in position. And then with the hard top close, it's kind of a low ceiling, you really get a sports car feel."

Bolster/visibility: Popping the bolster up allows a view over the windshield, which Captain Tripp noted has minimal brow interference. However, his stated preference was for the closed/lower hardtop configuration: "I think most of the time if I was running this boat, I'd probably do it in the closed position right here 'cause this is extremely comfortable."

Dash layout: Two Raymarine screens ("rad screens" in transcript), AC vents, cup holder, push buttons, USB ports, and Mercury engine controls positioned within natural reach, along with the bow thruster and joystick for tight maneuvering. Manual opening windows are fitted on both port and starboard sides for additional ventilation.

Below-Deck Entry / Galley Area

Descending the stairs, the overhead windshield creates what Captain Tripp described as an "atrium" effect with substantial natural light.

Galley (port side):

• Twin-burner stove, sink, refrigerator, pull-out drink freezer
• Storage below and overhead
• Hull side window with a large countertop-mounted unit (referred to as "CVE" in the transcript, likely a wine/beverage cooler)
• Additional storage for cutlery and glasses

Starboard side (opposite galley): Bench, pedestal table, overhead storage, and a TV.

Private Cabin (Starboard)

Captain Tripp noted feeling the AC running upon entering. His assessment: "This will be a great place to relax, escape all the rest of the guests, take a break from your day, get down here in the cool AC."

Features:

• Natural light, large berth
• AC vents, storage, dedicated TV, mirror
• Standing headroom just outside the berth, suited to changing clothes
• Drawer storage underneath the berth
• Controls for the diesel generator and the main electrical panel

Head (Port Side)

Captain Tripp noted the space extended further than he initially expected, allowing room for a dedicated shower with a bench, natural lighting via hull side windows, plus a toilet and vanity. He specifically praised a luxury touch: "I really like how they added a bit of luxury with a push button. Backlit mirrors over the vanity."

Second Private Cabin (Forward)

The berth is positioned at an angle to maximize usable space, providing a berth Captain Tripp said fits two adults comfortably. Features hull side windows and an overhead hatch, which serves both for natural light/ventilation and as an emergency escape hatch. Additional storage on both sides, a TV, a port-side locker with underneath storage, and outlets with USB ports.

Bow Access

Reachable via either side of the cabin top; Captain Tripp recommended the starboard route to avoid the L-shaped seating obstruction. Features a tow rail and handrail for security, plus a grab rail along the cabin top. Fuel fills for gasoline (main engines) and diesel (generator) are located here.

Design/Color Scheme

Captain Tripp's assessment: "I really li[k]en the color scheme of this boat and it continues forward. We have all the black metal work, the black trim in the upholstery, and in the EVA foam decking. It just really gives a good sexy look to this boat 'cause it is a sporty boat."

Bow Seating

• Fender holders
• Large sun pad with a lift-up backrest
• Grab rails with cup holders on either side, for security in chop
• Forward seats near the sun pad's foot pop up, with supported backrests, creating forward-facing seating
• Teak seating integrated into the bow rail at the very front — cited by Captain Tripp as his favorite seating area on the bow: "This is a beautiful spot to sit. You got the beautiful boat and whoever may be lounging here, you can chat with 'em or you see we got the [JL] audio speakers. You can party up here as well."

Anchor System (Bow)

Access to the anchor locker is located underfoot at the bow seating area, described as offering "plenty of access." Includes a freshwater rinse for cleaning the rode and anchor after retrieval from a muddy bottom, push-button controls for raising/lowering the anchor, and redundant controls at the helm for solo anchoring.

Closing Assessment

Captain Tripp's summary: "This looks like a real sporty boat for a couple or even two couples for a long weekend."
