Overview

Captain Tripp's framing: "This boat is built on the same hull as their most popular model for the US market, and that is the 340. But the difference that the 350 brings is an enclosed cockpit and a convertible hard top with a soft top option."

Power

Twin 400 V10 outboards. Captain Tripp relayed the builder's stated top speed of approximately 60 mph, adding his own perspective: "That is moving. Me personally, I don't need to go that fast on this boat, but if you want to, you can, and I'm sure you'll have fun doing it."

Swim Platform / Aft Cooking Station

Large swim platform providing ample room. The test boat was optioned with a wood cooktop (an electric grill is also available), plus a sink and cutting board.

Storage below: Room for fenders, lines, and a shore power cord.

Shore power / fuel fills (port side): Shore power receptacle and a diesel fill — the diesel is for the onboard generator (not a gas unit). Captain Tripp's stated preference: "A diesel generator is generally a little bit safer to have on board, so I'm glad NX is doing that."

Additional aft storage: Water fill and a storage compartment, which Captain Tripp believed could be optioned with a chiller plate to function as a refrigerator.

Starboard side: Freshwater shower for post-swim rinsing.

Battery Switches

Located at the stern for easy access when exiting the boat. Captain Tripp's stated rationale: "So maybe I'm going off the boat. It's the last thing I think about. Turn 'em off as I'm exiting the boat."

Additional Aft Details

• Small storage compartment beneath a step, suited to dock lines
• Trash receptacle: Cited by Captain Tripp as one of his favorite features on NX boats generally: "This goes right into the engine room, so all your trash and stuff stays outta the cabin. It's really just tucked away. So no unwanted smells and things like that."

Cockpit Seating (Under Hardtop)

Two large L-shaped seating areas with a small table. The table flips up to reveal engine room access.

Engine configuration options: Inboard or outboard. Captain Tripp noted the outboard configuration leaves this space "completely open," providing easy access to maintenance items and additional storage room.

Starboard-side cooler: Dedicated space under one seat, described as handy for keeping drinks cold.

Audio: JBL speakers throughout — six units noted in the cockpit area specifically. Captain Tripp: "This is gonna be a pretty good spot for a little party under here."

Headliner: Upholstered, with strip lighting further forward.

Convertible Hardtop / Soft Top

Manual operation. Captain Tripp's assessment of ease of use: "Even though it is manual, it's not very difficult to open. You just have to be ready, gotta know how to finesse it, and it slides right open and now we're letting in a lot of that sunlight." He personally opted to close it back given his own sun exposure preference, noting it latches securely once closed.

Port-Side Refreshment Station

Captain Tripp's description: "I'm gonna call this a slightly fancy refreshment station." Includes two cup holders and a storage compartment optionable with a chiller plate — described as fairly deep, suited to keeping drinks cold. Beneath this is dedicated stemware/glassware storage.

Helm Seating

Starboard-side double seat with a bolster spanning its width. Captain Tripp initially doubted the comfort of the flip-down (non-bolstered) position but revised his assessment after sitting: "Then I came over here and I sat down and I said, self, you're wrong. This is actually pretty comfortable and have a really good visibility."

Bolster function (standing position): Flipping the bolster down creates an elevated standing platform; combined with opening the convertible top, this allows the operator to stand and see over the windshield. Captain Tripp: "Full panoramic view."

Helm Equipment

MFD: The test boat carried a smaller MFD, which Captain Tripp attributed to factory practice awaiting customer preference rather than a fixed limitation: "I think that's just from the factory what they did. Now they're waiting on their customer to choose what they want. And you can probably fit two 12 inches in here."

Additional starboard helm controls: Skyhook joystick for tight-space maneuvering, Mercury engine controls, and trim tab controls — all noted as easily reached.

Ventilation: Manual sliding windows on both port and starboard sides.

Bow Access

Reached through an openable windshield door.

Seating: A large sun lounger with a decent backrest, comfortable per Captain Tripp's assessment.

Safety: A handrail runs the full perimeter — noted as valuable with additional passengers aboard or in choppy conditions.

Anchor System (Bow)

Anchor locker with a quick electric windlass, controllable both at the bow and at the helm — allowing single-handed anchoring. Also includes cleats, cup holders, courtesy lighting, and JBL audio speakers extending the party atmosphere to the bow.

Cabin

Captain Tripp's initial impression: "It is cozy down here, but it's also open so there's a decent sense of space. This might be a good spot for a family of three or four to enjoy a weekend."

V-Berth (Forward)

Decent headroom, cushions around the perimeter for lounging, and a convertible table function. Hull side windows provide natural lighting, supplemented by recessed LED lighting around the space.

Galley

Small, with a microwave, several cubbies for small item storage, a refrigerator, drawers, a sink, and a quartz countertop (referred to as "quarry" in the transcript).

Mid-Berth (Under Cockpit)

Noted by Captain Tripp as slightly larger than the V-berth, making it the likely preferred sleeping spot for parents in a small family group. A small couch is positioned along the port side (referred to as "fort side" in transcript) for a relaxing seating spot.

Head (Starboard)

Captain Tripp's assessment: "I'm kind of surprised at the amount of space in here, and technically it is a wet head, but it's actually a fairly well done wet head because there's a glass divider between the shower area and the toilet." This divider keeps the shower area somewhat separated from the rest of the space during use, aiding cleanliness.

Additional features: A hull side window with an opening vent near the toilet for ventilation, a vanity with underneath storage and a mirror, and strip lighting — which Captain Tripp noted "really gives some elegance in this head."
