Overview

Captain Tripp's framing: "This is a versatile family day boat, and I know there's a lot of boats like this, but this one has some unique features that may check those extra boxes that make this the boat for you."

Tower

A power tower that raises and lowers electrically. Captain Tripp noted several use cases: clearing a low dock or bridge, lowering while towing, or attaching a sunshade to cover the entire bow.

Fender Clips / Bow Approach

Fender clips are provided at the bow, allowing easy fender attachment when docking. A "Fast Track" hull design incorporates a single step down at this point, described as improving efficiency.

Bow Thruster

Captain Tripp expressed surprise at finding this feature on a single-engine boat: "Another thing that I was shocked to see is a bow thruster. So this is a single engine boat, so you're not gonna get that joystick option. So this is gonna help you when you're docking. It's gonna give you a lot more comfort and confidence while you're doing that."

Docking Lights / Navigation Light

Docking floodlights are fitted for night cruising. A flip-up navigation light is also included — Captain Tripp praised this detail: "I like seeing that 'cause you can tuck away and just give a clean look on the bow."

Power Options

Standard power is a Yamaha 250; a 300 hp option is available, or the boat can be optioned with an inboard configuration, eliminating the outboard entirely.

Benefit of outboard configuration (per Captain Tripp): Frees up significant interior storage beneath a hatch, suited to inner tubes, paddleboards, or similar items.

Swim Platform

Freshwater shower: Located starboard side, for rinsing off saltwater before boarding.

Space utilization: Captain Tripp noted more platform space than typical, attributing it to a configurable seating feature (detailed below): "You may notice there's quite a bit of space at this swim platform back here, but that's 'cause this boat has a little trick up its sleeve."

Telescopic swim ladder: Located beneath the swim platform.

Convertible Aft Seating

Captain Tripp highlighted this as the boat's "trick": "I like how this boat is flexible 'cause if you're having a day at the sandbar with the aft seat in this position, you have this larger swim platform. So this is gonna be the focus. This is gonna be where everyone is hanging out and they have plenty of space to do so."

Additional swim platform features: Fusion speakers, radio control, and storage under the seats accessible directly from the platform.

Cockpit space benefit (seating moved aft): Adds approximately 12 inches of room in the cockpit. Convertible seat backs flip back for additional seating.

Captain Tripp's stated tradeoff explanation: "If this wasn't in this aft position, I wouldn't have this foot room here and I'd be in the lounge position, which would be fine. But with a lot of people on board, this is gonna free up a lot of space in the cockpit."

Cockpit Bench Seating

Port and starboard bench seating, mirroring each other, with storage underneath.

Starboard side: Access to electrical switches and fuses.

Additional features: Cup holders, Fusion audio speakers, USB charging, handholds, recessed LED lighting for evening cruising, a pedestal table mount with dedicated storage, and courtesy lighting throughout the boat.

Helm / Companion Seat Offset

Captain Tripp noted the helm and companion seats are slightly offset and inferred this was intentional: "I think that was to give additional room for the head that's on this boat, which is interesting to see on this size boat."

Dash details: A recessed tray for phones, wallets, and small accessories, plus the Fusion audio head unit. Armrest with a cup holder and underneath storage. Both the backrest and helm seat are convertible.

Helm Comfort and Adjustability

Captain Tripp's assessment: "The windshield's gonna gimme protection from the wind and the brow is not in my sight line. I'm very comfortable for my size here." He then addressed taller operators directly: "What if someone is a little bigger than me? What if you're over six foot? Simple push of a button and the helm seat moves out. So anyone is gonna be able to [be] comfortable here."

Helm Electronics

Twin Garmin screens, described as easy to reach and read. Controls for trim tabs and — noted by Captain Tripp as an unusual and welcome feature — a "bow thruster valve" (referred to in the transcript as "bath rushing valve," likely a transcription error for bow thruster control): "That's one of those features that is a little different for this boat and I really like [that] the Regal put that on here."

Additional helm details: Tilt-base wheel, small glove box, controls for 12-volt systems, and a throttle positioned with a padded armrest.

Weather Protection (Forward)

The windshield and an air dam door can be closed to block cold wind, secured in place with magnets. Captain Tripp: "That's a good touch."

Bow Seating

U-shaped seating with underneath storage, accessed via gas struts. Captain Tripp praised the mechanism: "They open and close easily. You're not fiddling around with cushions and stuff that gets tossed all over the boat and just aggravating."

Helm-seat-forward storage: A large storage area accessed by lifting the helm seat, dedicated to the table, with room for inflatables, life jackets, and similar gear.

Additional bow features: Cup holders, Fusion audio speakers, more recessed LED lighting for evening ambiance, and dedicated anchor storage at the very bow.
