The first boat show in the world to open after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown is opening today in Bridgeport, CT. It is also the only “Invitation-Only” boat show in the world, something that inherently eliminates large crowds. Arrive by car and be met by complimentary valet service, enjoy cocktails on the house as you view the boats, sway to the soothing sounds of a live band, and afterward have some fresh seafood at the Boca Bar and Grill, seen in the image above. The show runs through Sunday, June 21. Masks and gloves are provided.

Manitou 23 Encore SHP 575 Dual Engine
The Manitou 23 Encore SHP 575 Dual Engine is equal parts luxury pontoon and high-performance boat. With twin 200-hp outboards, she hit 53 mph. The SHP performance package includes a 27” diameter center pontoon while the outboard pontoons were 25”. The boat also had positive angle lifting strakes and combination produced a V-bottom like lean into turns even at higher speeds, which makes the boat quite comfortable. High-backed bucket seats, upscale upholstery and thickly padded lounges give the boat a luxurious feel. More...

When Nimbus Yachts redesigned the 365 Coupe, the company took a functional approach. Mullions have integrated ventilation and were narrowed to improve view at the helm and from the salon. For $15,995, she comes with a 60-hp Mercury outboard on a single-axle trailer and the package weighs 2,200 lbs. (997.90 kg), which means she can be towed by a mid-size SUV or pickup. Big Thunder Marine, which is headquartered in Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., has opened a new facility at PGA Marina in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and the location will focus on Fountain center consoles.
