Ocean Alexander 27E:
Expedition Vessel Ready for Discovery
Ocean Alexander’s 27E (88’9”) is a long-range motoryacht designed for expeditions (therefore the “E”) and adventure. With a fuel capacity of 2,186 gallons (8,274 L), she has long-range capabilities at displacement speeds. Her aft deck storage and launching platform measures nearly 224.96 sq. ft (20.9 sq. m). That makes it large enough to hold two RIBs, plus other gear such as scuba tanks. Its standard portside hydraulic davit can be used to lower a single craft into the water or the entire platform can be submerged to launch a squadron. This design reminds us of large custom-built expedition vessels costing several times as much. More...

Linssen Yachts Grand Sturdy 45.0 AC:
Premium Steel-Hulled Coastal Cruiser
Linssen Yachts Grand Sturdy 45.0 AC
The steel-hulled Linssen Grand Sturdy 45.0 AC is designed for displacement-speed cruising on Europe’s rivers, canals and along its rugged northern coastlines. With a single diesel engine, she’s economical to operate and she can sleep six. Veteran cruisers will appreciate the views afforded by large salon windows. Her interior bulkheads are all wood finished in a classic old-world style that creates a cozy, very traditional yacht feel below. In North America, she is well suited to make the Great Loop, as well as coastal cruising in New England, the Maritimes, Ontario and the Inside Passage to Alaska. Because she has a low CG and is made of steel, she is a stable craft and can handle most any condition. More...

Sovereign Boat Club Needs Your Boat
In Miami and Ft. Lauderdale
Sovereign Boat Club needs new boats 25' to 35' (7.62 to 10.67 m).
The Sovereign Boat Club has received dozens of emails and calls from people looking for a premium club boat in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area. So, we’re looking for just two owners – one in Miami and one in Ft. Lauderdale – who have a new or late model center console, dual console or other dayboat to fill this need.
Since the average boat in the U.S. is used just 25 days a year, most owners have boats that sit at the dock or in a dry stack 90% of the year. Why not turn that depreciating asset into found income? For more information, contact Greg Sweeney at 727-200-3474 | [email protected].

MasterCraft XT23:
Cool Seating Expands Utility
MasterCraft’s XT23 is designed to accommodate a crowd in her cockpit, but when the crew aboard is smaller, an adult can recline against the angled backrest on the port console and stretch out facing aft. An available option, the center section of the rear bench can be converted to an aft-facing seat to watch the action in the wakes. It’s reminiscent of a rumble-seat on a car from the 1950s. More...

Mako 236 CC:
Choose Single or Twin Outboards
Mako offers the 236 CC with twin 150-hp Mercury outboards or a single engine up to 350 hp. This makes her appealing to boaters who want the redundancy of a second engine when heading offshore. We tested her with a single 300-hp Mercury V8. Top speed was 44 mph at 6000 rpm and we recorded best cruise at 4500 rpm where she ran 26.9 mph and had a range of 288 statute miles. More...

New Boat
The 1st Powerboat from Nautor’s Swan
In the boatbuilding world, this is a major event: Nautor’s Swan, the legendary builder of racing and cruising sailing boats, has introduced a powerboat – the 40’ (12.92 m) Swan Shadow. Located far north on the west coast of Finland, Nautor's Swan has been building the highest quality sailboats of all types on the planet for over 55 years. At its outset, it was grounded in strong boat construction by Rod Stephens of S&S. From there, it built some of the most successful racing sailboats for five decades. Its boats are still the benchmark for quality in the sailing world, so it’s major news that it has finally acknowledged what many sailors consider the “dark side.” More...
