Tahoe 210S:

New Bowrider Designed for Outboard Power

Tahoe 210S

Tahoe had a sterndrive version of the 210S in its lineup, but with the popularity of outboard engines soaring, the company designed an all new 210S specifically for outboard power. She’s new from the keel up and is designed to take advantage of an outboard’s advantageous power-to-weight ratio. This is an important detail: she is not a warmed-over sterndrive hull with an outboard stuck on the back. In most cases these conversions don’t perform very well because they were designed with a different weight distribution. There are only a few entry-level boat brands on the market these days, and Tahoe 210S’s build quality and amenities are definitely superior to some we can think of. With a 200-hp Mercury outboard, she topped 50 mph and planed in 3.1 seconds. More...

Advanced Materials Improve Flying Bridge

Monte Carlo Yachts 66

The Monte Carlo Yachts 66 has one of the largest, most open flying bridges in class, thanks in part to the use of some intelligent material choices in the hardtop construction. The cantilevered top and supports are made from carbon fiber. By extending the bridge deck aft to blend in with the boat’s transom, a stunning profile is created, along with more space to entertain. Eastern Boats Coastal 30:

Affordable Downeast Cruiser

Eastern Boats Coastal 30

One benefit of Eastern Boats switching from a traditional Downeast bottom design to a conventional bottom on the Coastal 30 was the volume created belowdecks. In the entrance to the forward cabin, there’s 6’9” (2.06 m) of headroom. The provisions locker in the base of the island berth has shelves measuring more than 7’ (2.13 m) long and height inside is 42” (106.7 cm). The head has a separate shower stall, almost unheard of in a 30’ (9.14 m) boat. Eastern believes in giving as much boat as possible for the buck and keeping the number of bucks manageable. More...
