The Little Yacht That Could
TRAILERABLE FLYBRIDGE Check out the clever Clear-Path swim platform that makes walking around the twins easy, or how the cockpit seats fold away for fishing space. The wide 10' beam somehow fits a full downstairs suite—stateroom, head, mid-berth—and she's still trailerable! What she evokes is a spontaneous weekend escape; grab the boat and go, the Command Bridge will show you the way.
6,200 VESSELS STRONG For 45 years, this Australian builder has been quietly perfecting her offshore capability and on-board living. With over 6,200 vessels cruising in 60 countries, the real story isn't just the robust engineering; it's the owner experience, and after-care service provided by the Riviera Family. See how they did it.
BOW FISHING STATION Lowe, an aluminum boat innovator since 1971, designed her LF line to be the family's pleasure deck one day and the angler's quiet platform the next. The LF 232 features clever seating for sun-worshipers and a functional stern station for the serious fisherman. Full-height fencing and modern furniture elevate the experience, all built on a structural lifespan warranty chassis.

Pre-Owned Yacht Spotlight: "SWEET"
2001 Grand Banks Yachts 49 Eastbay HX
DOWNEAST "Sweet" may be the most appropriately named boat I have ever known! She is Sweet! The Eastbay 49 may be one of the most elegant designs by C. Raymond Hunt. She is a good example of a properly maintained and loved yacht. Main engines upgraded to C-12s in 2003, generator and tender new 2023 and most else at one time or another. She is in great condition for a boat of her age and costs a fraction of the price of a new vessel.
TEN YEAR RULE Those rubber inserts do three crucial jobs: transfer thrust, absorb vibration, and support the engine. But they don't last forever. Our guide explains why a 10-year replacement rule of thumb exists, how deterioration causes engine sag and misalignment, and the simple maintenance steps (like grease checks) that can save a major headache later. Don't let soft engine beds ruin the perfect alignment.
HANDS OFF PILOTING Simrad's new system doesn't just assist with close-quarters boat handling; it handles it autonomously, adjusting for current and obstacles in real-time. This includes the capability to hold the vessel firmly against the dock while the crew secures lines. Integrated exclusively with Mercury propulsion, this scalable platform makes one of boating's most stressful moments a non-issue.
HARD DECISIONS Between a necessary "poop tank" chore and a crucial davit repair for the beloved Chicken Tender, the Boomershines trade cozy Killarney for the rugged seclusion of Bay Fine. Watch as the crew tackles August winds and an uphill climb up a quartz mountain to reach the mythical Topaz Lake. Was the breathtaking summit worth the cold, skeptical glare from Jojo the ship's cat?

The term "vessel" is deliberately broad in the Rules. It specifically includes "wing in ground craft" (WIG), along with non-displacement craft and seaplanes, reflecting the comprehensive nature of the navigation rules.
