Mission

When Boston Whaler set out to design and engineer the 350 Realm, the company’s goal was to combine the best of an express cruising boat with that of a center console whose purpose-built profile could be at home traveling, participating in chasing big fish, or, with the kind of amenities she offers, provide endless hours and days of family fun and adventure while out on the water. Job done.

With plenty of seating up on the bow, and wide open spaces aft, the 350 Realm provides the kind of room suitable for many purposes.

With its capability to combine exciting performance with outstanding amenities designed for comfort as well as being a horizon-chasing fishing platform, the Boston Whaler 350 Realm easily achieves its multi-functional purpose. And it all starts up in the bow.

As can be clearly seen in this overhead running shot, the bow area affords comfortable seating.

While taking full advantage of her 35’6” LOA and a 10’10” beam, the Boston Whaler designers were able to provide this area with lots of innovative features in order to make the space even more versatile.

To begin with, the bow offers the kind of wide open spaces allowing for such features as this triple-space lounge and optional electrically operated hi-lo teak table. Note the stainless rails surrounding the entire area.

With the table fully down, an insert creates an even larger lounging area or, for fishing, quite the sufficient casting platform.

Fully forward is the anchor locker housing the windlass, rode, and chain as well as the fresh water rinse tucked away on the starboard side.

By allowing access to the bow area from the port side only, enabled this space to be maximized for comfort.

Helm

The center-line designed helm offers the driver 360° views and while the console is laid out with all the requisite equipment, controls, switches, and all other necessary systems, everything is within reach to enable safe and prompt operation of the boat.

With enough space for dual 16” Simrad touch screens, the helm aboard the 350 Realm is designed for ease of operation. Note the sliding entrance door to the cabin to port of the console as well as the well-positioned and handy stainless grabrail. That stainless door to starboard houses a drawer-style refrigerator.

The upper portion of the wrap around glass windshield can open and close with the touch of a button at the helm, providing added air flow.

Cabin

With the theme of the 350 Realm being maximum use of available space in order to provide the upper limits of comfort throughout, the cabin is a perfect example of how Boston Whaler is able to provide this boat with the kind of room making her quite agreeable for spending extended time away from an owner’s home port.

Excellent headroom allows for a space that can be utilized to its fullest. The entire seating area easily converts to berth.

Cockpit

The business end of the 350 Realm presents useful fishing features as well as comfortable seating and some really worthwhile additions to her cruising and enjoyment of water sports abilities.

The large side boarding door allows getting a big fish on to the deck while also providing easy access after water sports activities. Note the heavy duty stainless hardware found here and all over the boat when needed. That plate under the door is for the dive ladder.

Dedicated storage for the dive ladder is conveniently located under the transom seat and is easily deployed.

There are two large fish boxes located in the deck here with the starboard one being outfitted with a chiller. Note how that transom seat folds out for three people to enjoy the sights on.

Opposing seating, once the backrest is put in this position, transforms the space into a dining area with a pair of teak tables in place. With it pulled backwards, it faces forward and offers seating right behind the double helm bench.

The storage area under this seat houses a convenient chiller and a clear access door can be used when someone is seated. Note the electric grill and sink to starboard with the hinged top used as additional counter space. A storage cabinet under the stainless grabrail easily opens via a latch.

During sunny days while at anchor, enjoy the protection provided by this electrically operated SunShade awning.

The beefy, solid port transom door allows easy and safe entrance and exit to and from the aft deck. Tension hinges guarantee it will stay open.

With the deck hatch open, the Boston Whaler design team saw an opportunity to use the underneath as a place for storage. Here it is used for the pair of teak tables between the opposing seating areas.

Allotted space has been put aside in the machinery area for easy access to the pair of bilge pumps, generator, optional Seakeeper 3 gyro, fire extinguishing system, along with engine fuel filters and all the other necessary things usually found here. Those black pads are hinged and lift up to service the batteries.

To make life easier, and safer during maintenance, Boston Whaler has placed these important signs on the underneath side of the main hatch to be used when necessary.
