Bow

Sure to be a favorite area to lounge in and take in the sights whether underway or on the hook at a serene anchorage, the bow offers U-shape seating with backrests.

Boston Whaler 210 Vantage filler cushions and a table with mounting bracket

Besides the large storage beneath the seats, a nice option here is a filler cushion as well as a table with mounting bracket. Note the recessed stainless grabrails to either side, flush-mounted speakers, and cup holders.

Boston Whaler 210 Vantage anchor locker

The anchor locker has cutouts for the flukes and is supported by a sturdy stainless ram.

Port Console

Having a dual console design means more room for those seated on the port side as well as supplying additional space for options.

Boston Whaler 210 Vantage optional head compartment

Designing the wrap around windshield opening slightly offset to starboard allows the 210 Vantage to be equipped with an optional head compartment in the port console.

Boston Whaler 210 Vantage wide walkways

In addition, the wide walkway means safe and easy access from bow to stern.

Starboard Console/Helm

Classic in design and utilitarian by purpose, the starboard helm offers a no-nonsense layout along with great sightlines into the seaway.

The helm features stainless wheel with turning knob, Simrad screen, JL audio control unit, analog and digital gauges, push buttons, USB chargers, and VHF radio mounted on the port side of the console.

Cockpit

Just behind the port console is the optional convertible seat. While supplying the backrest for the forward-facing seat, it can also do double duty as an aft-facing seat as well. In addition, it can also fully recline to a comfortable sunpad/lounge position. And there is storage below.

Transom

As it has everywhere aboard, Boston Whaler has utilized the space on the transom of the 210 Vantage for several practical and convenient uses. The casting platforms to either side easily convert to a pair of jump seats.

Boston Whaler 210 Vantage casting platforms

Situated between the single Mercury outboard, the casting platforms offer wide places to stand for sight fishing or getting a fish to the boat. Note the stainless grabrails to either side, the rod holders aft and on the gunwales, as well as the recessed stereo speakers. A four-step, stainless swim ladder is found just aft on the starboard side under its own lid.

Boston Whaler 210 Vantage rear seating

With the hinged lids in the up position, a pair of jump seats provide additional forward-facing seating. That center rod holder does double duty as the place for the ski pilon.

Summary

The Boston Whaler 210 Vantage, a recipient of the Miami 2024 Innovation Award and a Boating Industry Top Product of 2024 award, is the result of decades of advancements in the industry. Since 1958, when the first Whaler made its debut at the New York Boat Show, the company has been in the forefront of putting out models offering its owners a line-up of safe, reliable boats, all featuring its patented injected foam-filled hulls.

With its many features, the 210 Vantage is the perfect entry level boat. Dual console design, a long list of standard and ‘must-have’ optional features, single Mercury outboard power resulting in sparkling performance and handling, and being fully trailerable, makes her a stand-out in this size.

Whether you are just getting into boating, or downsizing for something a bit more manageable, having a look at the Boston Whaler 210 Vantage will make your search, and decision, that much easier.
